A youthful and energetic community since 1864.
An ancient message for a postmodern generation.
Unchanging truth changing the city.

Memorial Presbyterian Church is about real community, authentic worship and a global mission that God set in motion centuries ago on the other side of the planet.

We see the church not as a product we judge, but as a community we belong to--a community established by Christ himself. We belong to him. He's teaching us at Memorial to give ourselves to one another, to live for something bigger than ourselves, to be a counter-culture of grace here in the heart of St. Louis.

We don't promise the best music.
We don't promise the best anything.
The church is not a product.
Worship is not a performance.
That's the Lord's challenge to us.
God's challenge to a consumer culture.
God is our honored guest.

He's at work among us. Broken lives are being made whole. Jesus Christ is building his church.

We aren't a mega-church. We're about 275 Christians at the intersection of the Central West End, University City, Clayton, and the kingdom of God. We're committed to authentic relationships, to Christian friendship, and to gathering in small groups to invest our lives in our fellow Christians as we seek a Godward life together.
